1. Look at the beauty within yourself and all around you.
You are beautiful! Don’t shake your head and groan. You have a wonderful light within you that can shine if you let it out. So go for it! The world is beautiful and having you in the world definitely brings light to others.
2. Speak out loud and feel gratitude.
Yes! I am grateful for being me! You can whisper it to yourself or shout it with strength at the top of your lungs for others to hear. Don’t hold back. Say what comes to your mind what you are grateful for, whether it is who you are, what you have, and for others in your life.
3. Bring harmony within you as you view others and the world around you.
Experiencing a conflict with another? Take a deep breath. Meditate. See yourself and others as one within this world. See and feel that we are all a part of each other in this Universe.
4. Feel the Love within you and for others.
Breath deep. Close your eyes. Feel the anxiety and fear roll off of you, and let in the calmness and comfort within your body. This feeling of love may last just a few seconds at first, but just keep doing it. Each time you do this, it will last longer.
5. View yourself and others in a different perspective.
This is the “What if” exercise.
What if I was happy?
What if I loved my job?
What if I wanted to live in a bigger place?
What if I got along with my coworkers?
What if I got along with my family?
Now dig down deep and write those feelings down. Come on, go ahead. Don’t hold back!
Even if you don’t feel like smiling, just smile anyway! By going through the motion of smiling, you are telling yourself to bring joy. Smiling also brings to you an increase in vibration. So smile and shine that light from within you!
7. Speak from your heart with truth and love.
Use your own words, and not words that come from others. When you speak your truth, your honesty of who you are, you will feel joy. A lightness. It is understandable that you may modify your words at times, but you can still send your message with Love.
8. Listen to your inner guidance.
Don’t judge what comes to you initially. There are many times that you receive that first thought, and then think, “Hmmm….maybe that’s not right. One tip… If the messages and words that come to you start with “I”, then these are words coming from your ego. The messages or words that begin with “you” are ones coming through from your inner guidance. And a second tip is that you may hear words coming to you differently than how you speak, and in a calmer tone. This is Spirit speaking to you!
9. Be kind to yourself and others.
There are many that say there is a difference between being nice and being kind. This is very true. Being nice are words or actions that makes you look like a better person to another. But being kind are words or actions that comes from your heart.
And, number 10… the way to happiness and healing is to greet each day anew knowing that you are ready for the world!
